Fat Pack Cat

Product Description

The Fat Pack Cat has the same frame setup as a Pack Cat, but with 16 in. diameter tubes instead of 12 in. It weighs 42 lbs. with the frame, and is a bit wider, at 42 inches. The larger tubes give the boat more maneuverability, stability, and cargo capacity. This boat can be used by people weighing over 300 lbs., and can still carry all of the gear you would need for a week long trip. The Cutthroat and Fat Cats have the same tube diameters and can use each other’s frame. The Fat Cat packs down into a slightly larger package than a Pack Cat, but is still ideal for airline travel as well. Since 2002 our models we have included a light weight rear cargo sling that laces in place.
