We have been building inflatables since 1988.
We have seen a lot of return business.
Occasionally we may forget about a customer, but it is great to have
them return to us, and tell us about the great things they have done with our
products. We live vicariously through
our products. We gain a lot of Job
satisfaction while at the same time making sure that our products fit a customer’s
needs. JPW products may not fit the need
you are looking for. If we feel this way
we will tell you. However, we do make
the world’s best pontoons, and we offer them in an infinite variety of sizes
and configurations. If you need
replacement tubes, or a whole new system, you have found the right page.
There are a number of links on the previous page. The links under tube styles show a drawing of
a tube set that we have built before.
These tube sets have the dimensions of the tube, and the part
locations. This information has been
very helpful for customers and dealers building their own frames to fit out
tubes.
Often d rings, valves, or logos need to be placed in a
slightly different position to accommodate a frame design. We may private label for a customer, and
logos need to be different or located in a different position. If we do this kind of customization there may
be a small re-patterning charge, depending on the complexity of the
change. Private labels require art work,
and screen print set up charges.
We have just installed a new computerized cutting
system. There are many new options that
have become available to us as a result.
Customizing the look of your tubes may include lettering, and
designs. As the season heats up, these
options will take time, and customization of this nature will not be available
because of the high work load. A set of
tubes can always be sent back for customization at a later date. Please keep in touch on what is available, and
what we may be able to do for you during the off season.
Pack Cat, Fat Pack Cat, and Cutthroat tubes are
usually sold with a frame. The price
reflected here is for the tubes without a frame. We are surprised at what customers do with
our tubes. So use your imagination and
we will try to keep up.
The El Tigre style cone can
be put on any tube that is 25 inches in diameter and up. There are some advantages to this style. The overall length is decreased without
affecting the performance of the boat in whitewater. This may help in more technical waters. Catarafts by their
nature do not bounce off of walls well.
The sharper tips tend to absorb the energy of the impact and do not give
it back to the boat. The blunt ends of
the El Tigre style will give most of that bounce back
to the craft. There are occasions where
performance may be determined by how well a boat bounces off of a cliff. This can be a logical move in low water
rafting trips. Consider the El
Please look at our web site that shows cataraft
diameter and length VS load capacity. This site will give you an idea of how big
your boat needs to be for a specific purpose.
Also look at our boat specification table. This will have information about our standard
systems. These systems work well. Please feel free to ask us about the performance
of any of these boats you may be interested in.
It will help you make good decisions about your purchase of customized
tubes.
Proper frames are critical to the functioning of any cataraft design. Please
have a look at these frame options in our web site for the one that
functions the best for your needs. We
will be happy to recommend a number of dealers who build custom frames if you
have a specific need.
In summary, a Cataraft
system is only as good as the components that make it up. Our tubes carry a 10 year warranty. We have 30 plus years of rafting experience,
and 15 years of experience building inflatable boats. Our products are tested in the most difficult
situations world wide. We manufacture
